The main interests of the ensemble are liturgical and church music, connected to particular seasons of the Church year (i.e. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter).

We put the emphasis on gregorian chant, which is somewhat the basis of today's liturgical singing. In its search of suitable means of expression, the ensemble started with the Solesmes performance practice, but currently opts for the performance practice spread by such researchers on early music as Marcel Peres and Marcin Bornus Szczyciński. The ensemble performs also Polish Renaissance polyphonic music and Polish traditional folk songs.

Especially noteworthy is the series of 10 Marian songs, recorded by the Schola on the album "Mariam matrem virginem". The songs were written down in 14th century in the "Scarlet book" - "Llibre vermell", kept in the Benedictine Abbey in the mountains of Montserrat (Spain). They were sung by pilgrims heading for the Abbey to see the miraculous statue of the Black Madonna. They are written in Latin and Old Catalan, and their melody and rhythm reveals they must have been inspired by the local folklore.
